Im so tired of these fucking pedophiles! Everyone is familiar with the Penn State scandals, and in this media driven society we live in, every day we find out more and more details of how this old creep preyed on children for so many years. Makes me sick to my stomach to hear on the news that that McQueary guy actually saw an old man raping a little boy and did nothing except slam a locker door. Really?! Who does that?! Why wouldn’t he confront the situation, grab the kid and punch that old perv out?! Oh because it was his boss?! What the fuck?! It says a lot about our society when a man will basically stand by and not stop a rape because of fear for his job. More over that he actually discussed it with his father and came to the conclusion to, instead of reporting it to the police, reporting it to the school, which in turn covered it up and enabled this old pervert to continue hurting young boys. A lot has been said about them and I know I’m not saying anything new here, but in my opinion all the people that had prior knowledge of what was happening and did nothing are just as guilty if not more than Sandusky. If anyone had had the balls to report him to the authorities God knows how many children would have been saved.
Now that I'm a parent this enrages me even more, because I always saw myself having my kids take part in all sorts of extracurricular activities. Now I'm scared. All this creepery makes me want to hide my daughter and shelter her from the world. I'm not naive, I know perverts are out there. but in my mind I imagine a shady looking guy in a van. The truth is they are in our churches, in our schools, in our families... and if you make the mistake looking up your neighborhood the in the sex offender database, you will be overwhelmed by the tiny red dots you'll see in your screen. So how do we protect our children and let them enjoy being kids, without destroying their innocence with scary tales of stranger danger? If someone knows, please let me know.

why buy when you can make...
A few weeks ago I was looking for a costume for my dear baby girl's first halloween. She's 9months old so I wanted something simple yet cute, I fell in love with this one here, but was taken aback by the $42 pricetag (not includding shipping.

So I decided to make my own. I went and got me a black onesie, some black tights and some tulle, along with some felt for kitty ears. I spent a grand total of $17 and it took me 2 sessions to get it done and my dear hubs did the bedazzleing, and i gotta say I was very proud. Our baby looked amazing and it was a really nice feeling knowing that we made that for her. Here is the finished product:

Changing things up!
Because I'm lazy and kind of a spazz I decided i will no longer be posting movie reviews up in herrrrre! It serves no purpose, I watch too many movies and writing a long drawn out review about the artists aesthetic purpose seems boring and blah when a simple thumbs up or down would suffice. So I deleted all the old movie reviews! They is GONE! I've decided I will throw my rants out into the universe through this here blog. Consider me a slightly hotter version of a grumpy old man who hates most things and yearns for the good old days.
Don't get me wrong, there are things in this godforsaken planet that I do enjoy and some I even love and I will take time to share those too. So stay tuned kiddies, hopefully this time my determination will stick and you will get a peek at the inner workings of my brain more than once every blue moon. Here is to hoping.

No time to procrastinate...
So, after proclaiming my return, I disapeared again. I was busy being pregnant, buying a house, traveling, working, having a baby and now that all that is done...I'm back at work with a crapload of shit to do. My brain is a mess of inconsistent ideas, leaves no time to keep up w/ this blog. Hopefully things will get better and my creative juices will come back to me some day. Until then, stay classy people!
